You are not alone…I love humidity also. I moved to the south about a year ago too. I can’t shake the feeling that I now live in a resort and should spend everyday listening to the birds sing and the frogs croak. Lightning bugs…when I was a kid I thought they were made up…like unicorns. Now I get to watch them buzz around and the real tangible world’s magic become undeniable.
