Get Over Your Diversity Claims

I was watching an episode of World of Dance the other night when a all-women’s dance group came on and claimed they are working towards women’s diversity and are an example of how women of all shapes and sizes can embrace their beauty.

Only problem was, all of those dancers looked like super model’s. Pretty faces, thin as the rest of us dream about being, and even the same shade of skin.

Maybe they think they are diverse because they embraced different hair? There were blonds, light browns, and dark brows with both curly and straight hair. Maybe that is diversity? Oh, and there was some slight variance in breast size, but nothing either too big or too little, the variance all stayed within a happy medium.

Then they got on stage, danced ok, but not like “wow”, which you are supposed to be to get on the show in the first place.

While they were dancing they threw in some moves that screamed “look at how sexy I am”.

Right, becaue that is empowering?

Because we should be sending out a message to all thin, pretty, white, medium breasted women everyone, that strutting your slutty stuff makes you feel powerful?

I am sorry ladies, but I am just sick of the B.S. What you did was completely…
