Last year my 9th-grade son was doing Language Arts, he was confused why he got a true or false question incorrect. “A person can never tell the whole truth about their own experience.” This was to be marked as true. I asked if they had discussed this in class, of course not, conversations are not something we value enough to teach in precious school hours. (Don’t get me started as to how many school hours were wasted on useless activities.)

I am always glad to find other people who believe truth is a real thing and also very valuable.
