It makes no sense to me that people would get their panties in a twist over this. I call my kids mine all the time…but their dad is not only still married to me but also involved & attached. So what? Calling them mine does not make them not his. Although we do like to tease each other by saying “your kid” whenever they do something annoying 😁 I agree with you that people just need to get over the parent judging and shaming. It does not help parents or kids.
